Overview

The Office of Health Economics (OHE) seeks to recruit two talented graduate economists with interests or experience in the economics of the life sciences industry, health technology assessment, and health care systems. Candidates should hold an MSc in (Health) Economics, Industrial Economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake and present analyses on topics in one or more of OHE’s specialism areas, such as economics of innovation, measuring and valuing outcomes, value, affordability and decision‑making, and policy, organisation and incentives in health systems.
  • Work with OHE colleagues, clients, collaborators and external stakeholders to deliver contract and grant‑funded research projects.
  • Prepare clear, well‑argued analytical reports and presentations within tight deadlines.
  • Contribute to all core activities of OHE, including research design, data analysis, and drafting research outputs.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in economics or a relevant discipline.
  • MSc or equivalent in health economics, industrial economics or a related field.
  • Strong research, writing and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time‑management and prioritisation abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience in securing external research or consultancy funding.
  • Experience publishing research in peer‑reviewed journals.
  • Familiarity with the life sciences sector internationally and/or in the UK.
  • Project management experience.
Place of Work

This hybrid role allows flexibility to work remotely, with occasional on‑site meetings and events in the London Bridge office. Candidates must be located within an easy commute to London.
