Business Development Manager - North America Latex Binders (Part-Time)

Scope of Role – This part‑time (50%) Business Development Manager will focus on strategic marketing and business development within the Sustainable Packaging platform, accelerating growth across North America with customers in adhesives (CASE), barrier applications (Paper & Board), and downstream packaging value chain. Additionally, the role will drive business growth in coated board applications, capitalizing on regional production increases and paper‑based packaging expansion.

Remote Position – The role is remote and requires up to 50% travel to internal sites and customer visits.

Responsibilities
  • Strategically explore target market segments to identify opportunities and define optimal partnerships.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deepen understanding of application and product innovations, and work with functional teams to establish robust service capabilities, ensuring a clear market‑success path.
  • Expand market share by developing key accounts that excel in their specific segments, supporting Trinseo product qualifications and commercialization activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or other commercial and/or technical roles in polymers or the chemical industry.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and intimate knowledge of legal contracts.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in key account development.
  • Proven ability to manage opportunities from identification through product commercialization.
  • Ability to learn new applications and product technologies.
  • High level of accountability and ownership.
  • Team player.
