Salary: $100000-$115000 (to commensurate with experience). Pay Grade: 16. Other Forms of Compensation:

Job Summary:

The primary duty of this position is to support the development and execution of sourcing category strategies and understand the business/company requirements to maximize value and partner with business stakeholders. This includes executing the end-to-end sourcing process of creating and managing category strategies, spend and market analysis, running RFx processes, negotiating contracts and pricing, and supplier management. This role has sourcing and vendor management experience to operate at all levels of the organization and can move from strategic to tactical to provide insights based on market conditions and trends.

• Leads the negotiation and contract management of large-scale, enterprise-wide volume purchase agreements with guidance.
• Demonstrates project management expertise from strategic planning through implementation.
• Partners with Category Development subject matter experts across multiple product categories to gain insights and advanced knowledge of products.
• Proactively strategizes with business and other stakeholders to understand organizational needs and deliver solutions.
• Leads and participates on cross-functional teams to develop meaningful requirements to ensure quality responses from suppliers.
• Researches and develops adequate sources of supply. Utilizes market knowledge to leverage the best strategy; leads cross-functional supplier selection activities through formal RFP, RFQ and RFI processes.
• Evaluates the financial stability of potential suppliers.
• Performs business analyses with a strategic focus on total cost of ownership.
• Continuously seeks cost savings opportunities and leads efforts to realize the savings.
• Maintains accurate records and data within contract management systems and related sourcing tools.
• Participates in developing a strategic sourcing strategy aligned with business goals and market benchmarking; documents, communicates, and gains buy-in across the organization.
• Develops and refines procurement processes to minimize effort and maximize benefits through compliance and specification controls.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years of proven management experience in Procurement/Supply Chain/Sourcing with results.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management skills/experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across cross-functional teams.
• Customer-focused orientation.
• Advanced analytical skills using large data sets.
• Critical thinking with ability to draw conclusions from financial models and data across the business.
• Experience managing a P&L or budget.
• Strong internal stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Advanced Microsoft Word proficiency.
• Up to 10% travel annually.
