Business Development Manager - Community (Remote) About Us
Silent Push is a cybersecurity firm specializing in preemptive threat intelligence. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Reston, Virginia, we leverage a proprietary scanning and aggregation engine to monitor global internet-facing infrastructure.
Our platform provides security teams with enriched data, extensive query functionality, and enables the identification and tracking of adversary infrastructure before it becomes weaponized. Via our Indicators of Future Attack (IOFA) feeds, we empower organizations to detect and mitigate emerging threats, preventing attacks before they occur.
Position OverviewWe’re looking for a Business Development Manager (Community) to build, nurture, and scale our user community. This role will focus on driving engagement, fostering meaningful connections, and turning our community into a growth engine for product adoption and customer advocacy.
As Business Development Manager (Community), you’ll create engaging content, run events, and design programs that encourage member participation and advocacy. You’ll also play a key role in identifying when community members are ready for sales conversations
, partnering with the sales team to facilitate smooth, value-driven handoffs.

- Grow and engage our community across platforms and events.
- Create and curate content to spark conversations and knowledge sharing.
- Build programs for ambassadors, beta testers, and advocates.
- Monitor community activity to identify sales-ready signals.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to maximize impact.
- Lead Qualification & Nurturing:
Work directly with the Marketing team to process and qualify inbound leads generated from various channels (webinars, content downloads, events, etc.). You will conduct research to understand a lead's potential fit with our solutions and nurture them with valuable resources. - Community Outreach & Engagement:
Actively engage with the Silent Push community across various platforms, including Linked In, Discord, and Slack. You'll identify potential opportunities and user needs, acting as a helpful resource and brand ambassador. - Sales Handoff:
Schedule discovery calls and meetings for the sales team, ensuring a smooth and informed transition. You will maintain meticulous records of all activities in our CRM. - Process Improvement:
Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams to refine lead generations and qualification processes and improve communication workflows.
- Experience in Cybersecurity:
Experience in a BDR, SDR, marketing associate or similar role, ideally in a SaaS, cybersecurity, or technology sector. - Communication
Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to write compelling emails and have engaging conversations with a diverse audience, from security professionals to developers. - Technical Aptitude: A genuine curiosity and interest in threat intelligence, security operations, and the technical aspects of our product.
- Sales & CRM:
Hub Spot knowledge in lead management, reporting, and pipeline tracking is a plus. Attention to detail in daily reporting on pipeline progress - Self-Starter: A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. You thrive on solving problems and taking ownership of your work.
