SummaryThe Strategic Account Manager is the owner of the client relationship and the ultimate driver of account retention for Enterprise Accounts. This role is responsible for building deep, multi-threaded partnerships with key merchant stakeholders, driving adoption of Flowspace’s solutions, and delivering exceptional service that turns customers into brand advocates.
What you'll do- Day To Day:
- Act as the front-facing lead, managing all merchant communications and ensuring they’re professional, proactive, and polished.
- Ensure timely communication, responsiveness, and thoughtfulness in every customer interaction.
- Work closely with Operations, Product, Engineering, and Support teams to resolve issues quickly and strategically.
- Represent the merchant’s voice internally, advocating for timelines, escalations, and feature requests when needed.
- Week to Week:
- Drive weekly or bi-weekly syncs, being fully prepared to speak to account-specific metrics, open items, and business goals.
- Month to Month:
- Develop Q decks using the company template, tailored to merchant context and strategic objectives.
- Identify upsell and growth opportunities, and partner with internal leadership and Executive Sponsors to act on them.
- As Needed:
- Quarterback and project manage onboarding and launch for new merchants.
- Educate merchants on Flowspace’s platform, tools, and new product offerings to drive adoption and value realization.
- 5+ years proven experience in a former / current account management role
- Industry experience (logistics, warehousing, or ecommerce)
- Solid skills with software products, i.e. a WMS, Salesforce, GSuite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work across teams, in a fast-paced but collaborative environment
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Masters/Graduate degree
- Experience in a startup environment
- Must be based in the continental United States
- 10-15% travel as needed for employee team gatherings, conferences and in person customer meetings
- Must be able to successfully manage a variety of virtual technology tools, to communicate and work in a remote environment (i.e. GSuite, Slack, Zoom, Miro)

The base salary range for this role is $70,000–$110,000 per year. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.
