Our successful Secretarial Document Services Department is looking for an experienced Document Specialist to join the team. We need you to be an organised, professional individual with a "can do" attitude who embraces new software and is eager to learn and develop your skills.

Our TeamYou will be working within the Secretarial Document Services Department which provides central document specialist support to the firm. You will report to the Leeds office Secretarial Services Manager and work alongside other Document Specialists supporting UK offices and global offices, as required.
Our OpportunityThis role is ideal for someone with strong experience working with legal documents, in particular heavy amendments and formatting. You must also have experience of and be capable with using MS Office at an advanced level.
You'll work with in a team providing central document specialist support to the firm, incorporating all facets of legal document processing. Types of work will include amending legal documents, formatting existing Word documents into firm house style, converting and amending PDFs, editing/creating Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint slides, using Laserform, using Docu Sign, mail merges, editing/creating pitch documents and emailing documents to clients.

- Perform mail merges and edit/create pitch documents
- Email documents to clients
- Provide central document specialist support to the firm and liaise with UK and global offices
- Adhere to shift pattern:
Monday – Friday, 5pm – 1am (some flexibility; home-working available)
- Strong experience with legal documents, including heavy amendments and formatting
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office
- Minimum typing speed of 65 wpm
- Legal experience covering major aspects of law and processing of legal text, including specialist documentation
- Experience with digital dictation software; ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- Remote-based role; comfortable working independently
