Our client, a small, second-generation, family-owned real estate investment firm specializing in affordable housing, is hiring a part-time bookkeeper for a short-term assignment.
Role DescriptionPart-time Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper for a short-term contract (2 months) position, with potential to extend and continue part-time hours. The role may begin at approximately 30 hours per week, with potential for reduced weekly hours thereafter.
The role is on-site in the intown Atlanta-Druid Hills area.
The role involves a time-sensitive immediate project of organizing and distributing K‑1 documents (provided by CPA firm) to approximately 220 limited partners. In addition, record data may require research, maintenance, and/or updating, and additional written communication may need to be distributed. Additional accountabilities may include:
- Office/administrative support
- Answering and directing calls
- Maintaining organized filing system
- Managing review of financial records and transactions
- 5 years+ bookkeeping and/or accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong record-keeping and organization skills with a focus on managing detail
- Bookkeeping and financial transaction management
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in relevant office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Basic to Intermediate Excel, Word, Outlook, Google) and/or Quicken; operating in a MAC environment is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a small on-site home office environment in intown Atlanta/Druid Hills area
