Position Summary:Brown Private Investigations is seeking a reliable and organized Assistant Operations Manager to support daily operational functions and assist leadership with coordinating investigative assignments, administrative processes, and internal communications. This role helps ensure that investigative operations run smoothly by supporting scheduling, documentation, investigator coordination, and internal workflow management.
This is a W-2 hourly position, not an independent contractor role. Employees must comply with company policies and procedures and will be provided the tools and guidance necessary to perform their duties effectively and in accordance with applicable laws and company standards.
This is a hybrid remote position with a flexible schedule, working part‑time hours based on operational needs.
Essential Responsibilities:- Assist with coordinating investigator assignments and scheduling
- Support operational planning and workflow management
- Maintain internal case tracking systems and documentation
- Communicate with investigators regarding assignments, scheduling, and reporting requirements
- Assist with reviewing investigative reports for completeness and organization before submission
- Maintain records, case files, and internal operational documentation
- Assist management with administrative tasks and operational projects
- Help ensure compliance with company procedures and investigative documentation standards
- Serve as a communication liaison between investigators and management when needed
- Other duties as required
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining responsiveness
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field
- Previous experience in operations coordination, office management, or investigative support
- Familiarity with investigative operations or case management systems
- Prior experience supporting remote teams or field personnel
- Hourly wage:
Up to $24/hr based on experience - Flexible part‑time schedule
- Hybrid remote work environment
- Eligible for applicable overtime pay under FLSA
- Workers' compensation and unemployment insurance coverage included as per Georgia W-2 employment requirements
Schedule:
Hybrid remote position with occasional in‑person coordination if needed
- Part‑time hours based on operational needs
Flexible schedule with no fixed shift requirements
