Care First’s Strategic Growth division is accepting internship applications for our Summer 2026 program, spanning the company’s marketing and communications, commercial sales, government programs, federal employee program, and strategic enablement functions. The intern position resides within the Process & Support Department. This team is responsible for supporting the Information Technology organization and their clients with change navigation, providing ongoing communications, and process update support. Ideal candidates must have knowledge of business administration, an interest in healthcare, business administration, project management, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Care First runs a year‑round internship program. The ideal candidate is someone who can work throughout the year up to 15‑20 hours in the Spring/Fall and up to 40 hours in the summer. This is a remote position.
Essential Functions- Assisting and executing tasks associated with the delivery of organization initiatives.
- Creation of emails and PowerPoint presentations.
- Develop and execute communications to internal and external project stakeholders.
- Attend meetings, record outcomes for key action items and follow‑ups.
- Identify proactive opportunities for deploying creative communications strategies.
- Maintain internal and external stakeholder information repositories (e.g., SharePoint, Salesforce Communities).
Education Level: This position requires an individual working towards at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Junior or senior undergraduate student or master’s student targeting majors in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA’s):
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and online tools and search engines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including assistance with reports and written documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with internal staff and external clients.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Proficient with various computer applications/software, particularly those related to document, web, and presentation development.
Salary Range: $18,720 – $26,000 (annual rate; intern positions will be paid hourly).
