A fast-growing building consultancy based in London is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic and expanding business working within the built environment sector.
The role offers broad exposure across the business and would suit someone who enjoys a varied position where no two days are the same.
RoleAs Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the wider team to provide administrative, operational, and organisational support across several areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities- Managing day-to-day administrative tasks to support the consultancy team
- Processing invoices and assisting with financial administration
- Booking travel and coordinating logistics for staff
- Supporting HR administration including onboarding, records and documentation
- Managing holiday administration and maintaining internal records
- Providing basic technical support and coordinating with external IT providers
- Managing relationships with office suppliers and service providers
- Assisting with general office management duties
- Supporting health and safety administration and compliance documentation
- Assisting with marketing administration including materials and event coordination
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Proactive with a positive and flexible approach
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Experience with in property, construction or professional services is advantageous but not essential
- Salary up to £40,000
- Hybrid working with a mix of office and home working
