Compensation$21.06 - $24.77 per hour. Actual wage will be based on candidates qualifications, competencies, experience and geographic location.

A licensing assistant is an administrative role as part of legal team. Your primary function is to support MOD restaurant licensing program. Our licensing program ensures the entire restaurant portfolio maintains required licenses, these include alcoholic beverage licenses, business licenses, operation licenses, and more. Maintaining and renewing these licenses includes a significant amount of paperwork completion with high accuracy, tracking and meeting deadlines and conducting research.
WorkLocation and Schedule Expectations
The Licensing Assistant will work Monday – Thursday onsite in our Support Center located in Bellevue, Washington. Home office/remote work is permitted on Friday; employees can work in office 5 days per week if they prefer. The workweek is anticipated to 30-40 hours per week based on work demand. This is considered Full-Time and benefit eligible. Your schedule is a standard business day and has flexibility to come in early or stay late based on your personal and work demands.
Key Responsibilities- Complete administrative tasks supporting Licensing team, including processing legal mail, preparing and submitting check and signature requests, and coordinate outgoing mail or shipments.
- Proactively assist all aspects of required site licensing including researching, preparing and submitting applications for alcoholic beverage licenses, business licenses, and other operational permits.
- Supports and assists the Licensing Program, including:
- Works on multiple licensing projects simultaneously
- Assists and works on projects from inception to implementation within defined deadlines and scopes to achieve intended project results
- Communicate with stakeholders to gather information needed for licensing applications and compliance requirements
- Track projects and communicate status updates to stakeholders as directed
- Maintain licensing records and documentation to ensure accurate and organized compliance tracking
- Assist in the management of Bring Your Own Beer (“BYOB”) compliance program for applicable locations.
- Work with outside counsel, consultants and regulatory agencies as needed to support licensing activities.
- Support ongoing improvements to licensing tracking tools, documentation and administrative processes
- 1+ years’ experience in an administrative support role in a corporate office setting
- Ability to meet strict deadlines for renewal applications and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Prior experience and demonstration of maintaining confidential information. Possess excellent analytical, quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Effectively manage priorities and projects Ability to audit and review data for accuracy.
- High level ability towards attention to detail, documentation, and follow through.
- Restaurant experience or knowledge
