Remote Business Support Specialist

We are looking for a Remote Business Support Specialist to provide administrative and operational assistance across several areas of the business. This fully remote role is ideal for organized professionals who enjoy variety in their work and take pride in supporting different teams to keep daily operations running efficiently. You will contribute by handling administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, coordinating communications, and assisting with operational activities that support the wider business.

You will work across different functions—from scheduling and documentation to customer support and basic operational coordination. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, database updates, and maintaining accurate internal records.
  • Prepare, edit, and format documents, presentations, and reports as required.
  • Organize files, folders, and documentation to ensure information is easy to access and properly archived.
  • Maintain internal trackers, logs, and records to support operational visibility and accountability.
  • Manage and organize incoming emails, ensuring messages are categorized and routed appropriately.
  • Draft and respond to professional correspondence on behalf of the team when required.
  • Coordinate communication between departments to support smooth information flow.
  • Assist with handling customer inquiries and ensuring requests are directed to the correct team members.
  • Coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, and confirm availability for internal or external participants.
  • Assist with meeting logistics including preparing agendas, organizing materials, and taking meeting notes.
  • Track follow-up actions from meetings and ensure key items are documented and communicated.
  • Provide basic bookkeeping assistance including invoice preparation, expense tracking, and simple record updates.
  • Assist with order processing and inventory tracking where required.
  • Support vendor communications and coordination related to operational tasks.
  • Contribute to administrative aspects of internal projects and operational workflows.
  • Assist with scheduling social media content using designated management tools.
  • Support updates to website content and digital materials when required.
  • Help prepare newsletters or email marketing content.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of virtual events, campaigns, or promotional activities.
  • Provide flexible support across teams based on changing business needs.
  • Assist with short-term projects or operational initiatives as required.
  • Contribute to process improvements by helping maintain organized workflows and documentation.
  • Support different departments to ensure operational tasks are completed efficiently.
Candidate Requirements
  • One to two years of administrative or business support experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good computer literacy and confidence using common business software tools.
  • Clear written and spoken English communication skills
