The Client Services Associate assists in managing and organizing office work flow and daily business operations. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities.
This role is administrative in nature and not sales focused, but with plenty of room for career growth and development.

Responsibilities and Job Functions 50% Meeting Support- Assist Service Team with meeting preparation and compilation of reports
- Assist Financial Advisors with note taking / documentation during client meetings
- Complete paperwork in meeting as needed
- Document and assign follow up action items for team members
- Follow up with clients / home office regarding their action items
- Work with Ameriprise home office to ensure accurate account setup, ongoing maintenance, and resolve issues
- Answer client questions and provide readily available information, if requested and as allowable, as it relates to servicing their accounts
- Maintain files and records in accordance with the records retention policy
- Provide insight and recommendations to effectively use key tools (Salesforce, Thomson, etc.) that help lead to results in practice
- Set up and maintain client management system
- Coordinate client and prospect meetings
- Conduct transaction requests as directed by financial advisor(s) and associate financial advisor(s)
- Meeting follow-up and task management
- Document client contacts and interactions
- Perform other job-related duties and/or special projects as required
- Detail Oriented and Analytical
- Genuine interest in serving and caring for other people
- Self-motivated, willingness to improve and learn new things, and an overall positive attitude
- Strong professional writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow and improve standard operating procedures
- Knowledge of computers, scanners, and other office technology
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management
- Ability to prioritize competing assignments, tasks, and responsibilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Preferred: 2+ years of similar/industry experience
- Preferred:
College degree in Finance, Business, Communication or similar field - Preferred:
Series 7, Series 66, and State life, accident, and health insurance licenses (or ability to obtain within first 6 months of employment)
- Experience with Ameriprise systems
- Familiarity with Money Guide Pro and Salesforce
- Full-Time Position at our Camas office location
- Base pay ranges from $48,000 - $70,000 depending on experience and qualifications
- 13 Paid Holidays + 10 days of PTO/Vacation in first year, increases in year two
