We are seeking an Office Specialist 2 to join our Stabilization and Crisis Unit (SACU) team of dedicated and compassionate individuals.
Summary Of DutiesAs an employee working within the Stabilization and Crisis Unit (SACU), you will be a part of a program that provides 24‑hour residential care to Oregonians with intellectual/developmental disabilities, often with co‑occurring mental health diagnoses, whose support needs exceed the supports offered or provided by other community‑based residential programs. SACU provides development and support to assist individuals in safely transitioning back to their home community.
We model positive attitudes while offering assistance with access to: health and medical supports, psychological services, emotional and behavioral support, educational supports. SACU staff also provide life skills training, recreational opportunities and community integration. SACU is dedicated to providing the support necessary to maintain the quality of life, achieve the highest possible level of independence and promote social opportunities, which benefit the individuals served and their communities.
We operate 17 residential group homes along the I‑5 corridor from Portland to Eugene.
As a Residential Group Home Office Specialist, You Will- Work in a fast‑paced environment where you will provide a variety of clerical support tasks for our residential group homes.
- Manage and maintain multiple calendars, trackers, and spreadsheets.
- Assist individuals with the interviewing, selection, and hiring process.
- Use a computer to enter and track information.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments.
A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required for this position.
Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents.
ORAn associate or higher‑level degree in any field.
ORAn equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Attributes- Attention to detail for following directions, documenting information, etc.
- Experience using time management, organization, and prioritization skills to track and complete tasks.
- Experience communicating clearly and cross culturally in writing, directly, or virtually.
- Experience using proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and sentence structure.
- Experience using computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, email, calendaring, etc. for documenting, communicating, and tracking information and for scheduling and managing appointments, meetings, resources, etc.
- Experience working with a variety of individuals from varying backgrounds.
