- This role is for 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
- This role is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2028.

What will I be doing?We’re working to make Somerset an even better place to live, work, do business, invest and study – and you’ll be a key part of that.
As a Senior Business Support Assistant, you will be providing administrative support to the Regeneration and Major Projects team within the Economic Development, Skills and Climate Service.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- General administrative support to help to progress key regeneration schemes and major projects in Somerset, such as Town Deal, Levelling Up and Pride in Place programmes, Hinkley Point C and Enterprise Zone projects.
- Organising, administering and note-taking for a range of, often multi-agency, meetings.
- Financial administration.
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you have:
- 5 GCSE’s/ NVQ Level 3 standard or equivalent, including Maths and English.
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Sound organisational skills
- Previous experience of an administration role.
- Previous experience of meeting organisation, administration and note-taking.
- The ability to work as part of a team

The Salary for the role is Grade 14, ranging from £25,185 to £25,989 per annum.
