Position: Billing Specialist I

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Create and submit invoices from repair orders to customers for approval and payment
  • Prepare repair orders by documenting symptoms, problems, and required repairs based on technician input
  • Verify accuracy of billing hours and VMRS codes related to repairs
  • Communicate with customers to retrieve purchase order approvals and resolve billing issues
  • Gather and upload necessary documentation into the system for record‑keeping
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient with estimating systems such as Mitchell One
  • Strong written, verbal, and phone communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and software navigation
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while managing customer inquiries and concerns
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in service writing
  • Existing knowledge of standard repair times (SRT) for common services
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation
