We are recruiting an experienced Executive Assistant to support a U.S.
-based healthcare client that provides medical and therapy services by deploying Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to nursing homes. This fully remote, full-time role is suited to a highly organized professional who thrives on keeping leadership teams structured, informed, and on track. Familiarity with healthcare operations or clinical workflows is advantageous.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (4:00 PM – 01:00 AM South African time – subject to daylight savings).
- Public Holidays: This role requires working on both South African and U.S. public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA).
- Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and wired Ethernet capability is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
- Power Backup: Reliable backup required to manage load shedding or outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
- Work Environment: Fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with executives to keep tasks, priorities, and workflows organized
- Maintain and manage executive to-do lists and track key action items
- Join meetings, take clear and accurate notes, and follow up on deliverables
- Update and maintain project management tools (e.g., , Asana — advantageous)
- Assist with general administrative coordination and day-to-day operational support
- Ensure tasks and projects are tracked and completed on time
- Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders when required
- Anticipate needs, prioritize tasks independently, and establish your own workflow in a remote environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as an Executive Assistant
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Highly detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and build your own work rhythm in a remote environment
- Comfortable using basic computer systems, Microsoft Office, and Outlook
- Familiarity with project management tools is advantageous
