Position: Data Entry Support Specialist (Remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, dependable, and organized Data Entry Support Specialist to join our growing remote operations team. This role is essential to maintaining accurate records, structured databases, and clean internal systems that support teams operating across the MENA region, including the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

As a Remote Data Entry Support Specialist, you will ensure that business-critical information is entered, updated, verified, and maintained with precision. Your work will directly contribute to operational clarity, reporting accuracy, and overall workflow efficiency.

No extensive prior professional experience is required. Structured onboarding and training will be provided. Success in this role depends on strong attention to detail, discipline with repetitive tasks, accountability, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Record Maintenance:
  • Entering data into internal systems, spreadsheets, and databases with high accuracy
  • Updating existing records to reflect new or corrected information
  • Reviewing data for completeness, formatting consistency, and accuracy
  • Identifying duplicate records, inconsistencies, or missing fields
  • Standardizing entries (names, contact details, region identifiers, internal notes)
  • Maintaining clear file naming conventions and organized digital folders
  • Logging changes made and corrections implemented
Data Verification & Quality Control:
  • Cross-checking new entries against source documents
  • Validating information before final submission
  • Flagging unclear or incomplete data for clarification
  • Monitoring recurring data errors or inconsistencies
  • Supporting documentation standard compliance
  • Ensuring records meet internal quality benchmarks
Workflow & Task Coordination:
  • Reviewing incoming data requests and categorizing them appropriately
  • Prioritizing tasks according to deadlines and workflow requirements
  • Tracking task progress from assignment through completion
  • Following up on pending or delayed items
  • Maintaining clear documentation of work status
  • Communicating proactively when additional information is required
Tracking Systems & Reporting Support:
  • Updating operational trackers for completed, pending, and in-progress data tasks
  • Maintaining daily activity logs
  • Preparing brief summaries of completed work and outstanding items
  • Escalating recurring data issues or workflow bottlenecks
  • Supporting internal reporting functions with clean, reliable datasets
Documentation & System Organization:
  • Ensuring consistent formatting across all records
  • Maintaining standardized folder structures
  • Keeping documents organized and easily accessible
  • Supporting updates to process documentation when required
  • Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) precisely
