INSPIRE Student Office Assistant (STUDENT/WORK STUDY)
Provide part time administrative support for marketing, planning, student support, and events. Hours will be adjustable based on class schedule. Student will have a front row seat for INSPIRE program and should make valuable contacts as well as marketable and transferable skills.
ResponsibilitiesAdministrative support for marketing of INSPIRE program. This may include:
- Creating social media posts
- Email communications
- Connecting with student clubs
- Newsletter creations
- Interviewing student scholars and corporate and community contacts
- Participation in career prep workshops
- Creation of forms and documents to track event participation
- Assistance in event planning and setup
- Assistance in event marketing
- Must be a University of Michigan Flint student.
- Must have experience with Google Suite, Social Media, and Linked In.
- Experience in marketing of events, social media marketing, and strategic messaging to customers.
- Experience in Canva or other graphic design platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership skills
Hybrid
The work requirements allow both onsite and offsite work and an employee has an expected recurring onsite presence. On occasion, the employee may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently if necessitated by unit leadership or their designee and/or the job requirements.
