Currently, we are looking for a detail-oriented and systematic colleague to join our Shared Service Center team as a Payroll Administrator supporting German clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, internal systems, and processes, and wants to grow in the payroll field.
Key responsibilities- Enter and transfer payroll and HR data between internal systems
- Check the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of entered data
- Update system data based on provided documentation
- Prepare and electronically submit filings and reports to relevant German authorities
- Work with electronic portals and public administration systems in Germany
- Record completed tasks and monitor confirmations of submission receipt
- Resolve discrepancies in cooperation with the Payroll Accountant
- Provide administrative support to the team in daily operations
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, control procedures, and statutory deadlines
- User-level knowledge of MS Office 365 (especially Excel)
- Experience working with internal systems (e.g., JIRA) or databases is an advantage
- Ability to work accurately according to instructions and internal procedures
- Logical, analytical, and systematic thinking
- Strong orientation in working with data
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Responsible approach to deadlines
- Ability to stay focused on routine tasks
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Team-oriented mindset and open communication
- Education in Economics or Administration is an advantage
- Previous experience in an administrative or back-office role is welcome
- Communicative knowledge of German and basic knowledge of English
