Job Summary
You will coordinate operational support tasks including laundry collection, waste disposal, and equipment maintenance while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will also manage inventory and maintain accurate records to support smooth facility operations.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the collection, sorting, and distribution of laundry to ensure timely processing
- Arrange biohazard and chemical waste disposal by liaising with approved vendors to comply with safety standards
- Communicate with vendors to schedule maintenance, servicing, and repairs for scientific and office equipment
- Monitor inventory levels of consumables and initiate replenishment orders to maintain adequate stock
- Follow health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in all operational tasks, including waste disposal
- Report facility or safety issues promptly to the relevant team to support a safe work environment
- Maintain accurate records of laundry services, waste disposal, equipment servicing schedules, and other operational data
- Organize proper documentation, filing, and data management according to internal guidelines
- Perform additional operational and general administrative duties as assigned
- Good oral and written communication skills to effectively liaise with vendors and internal teams
- Good interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills to coordinate with multiple parties
