Jamison Professional Services, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Transcript Processing Clerk to support our Transcriptionist/Court Reporter Department.

Schedule and LocationThe selected candidate is expected to work 8 hours per day, M-F. This position typically follows a standard weekday schedule. However, occasional work on weekends or holidays may be required based on business needs. Such instances are infrequent.

In your role as a Transcript Processing Clerk
, you will perform diverse operational, project and administrative duties in support of the Court Report and Transcriptionist (CR&T) department. This role is ideal for candidates who are extremely detail-oriented and organized.
- Depositions
- Administrative and investigative board proceedings
- Disciplinary action boards
- Patent and trademark hearings
- Other legal and administrative proceedings
- High school diploma
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word
- Experience using spreadsheets for data entry, tracking, and reporting (Microsoft Excel)
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and formatting guidelines
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Prior experience in document processing and/or transcription support
- Familiarity with legal documents
- Exposure to Excel formulas or basic automation
- Copy proofread transcript text into the appropriate Microsoft Word templates
- Apply required formatting to the body of legal transcripts
- Create transcript components, including cover pages, appearances pages, transcript indexes, certification pages, and word indexes
- Conduct basic research to verify participant names, attorneys and law firms, and addresses and phone numbers
- Use Adobe Acrobat to combine transcript documents and apply password protection
- Maintain transcript tracking information using Excel spreadsheets, including dates received and returned, page counts, and client or case identifiers
- Use Excel spreadsheets to track assigned tasks and workload status
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with formatting requirements
- Follow established production workflows and meet assigned deadlines
