Pay Range: $19–$25 per hour

Job Description Primary Purpose

Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Department, with a primary focus on payroll-related tasks.

This position is based out of our office in Fort Wright, KY, with flexibility for partial remote work.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance with all aspects of Payroll, including employee’s biweekly pay
  • Ensure accuracy of tax payments
  • Complete spreadsheets for payroll accounting entries and tax recap
  • 401(k) processing, including biweekly employee contributions and monthly employer match contributions
  • Process HSA contributions, including biweekly employee contributions and quarterly employer contributions
  • Track paid leave accruals and usage; audits and employee communication.
  • Review and track part time employee’s hours and maintain holiday/exceptions spreadsheet
  • Provide support for audits, surveys, travel arrangements, benefits, recruiting and related administrative processes
  • Provide HR project support & assistance as needed with facilities, company gatherings, wellness, employee relations activities, running errands, and various project based work
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state posters
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Communicate effectively with management, coworkers and external customers
  • Attend team meetings
  • Take initiative to learn and expand role
  • Perform other tasks and have such other responsibilities as assigned from time to time
  • Qualifications

    Education/Certifications

    Required:

    Associate’s degree or equivalent HR experience

    Essential Knowledge and Skills Requirements
    • Minimum of 1 year of prior payroll processing experience required.
    • Ability to work well as a team member, ability to engage others
    • Detail oriented, high degree of accuracy
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Must be proactive, anticipate needs, and work independently
    • Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
    • Ability to type 25-30 wpm
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
