Overview
We have an opportunity for a Team Secretary, Band 3 to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 am‑5 pm based at Avenue House on the Manor Site in Nuneaton.
Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust has an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent secretarial, communication and organisational skills to join the admin team. You will have the option to work from home on a rota basis once fully trained, as well as working in the office based at Manor Court Avenue, Nuneaton. This is a full‑time post and the successful candidate must be able to work Monday to Friday 9 am‑5 pm.
ResponsibilitiesYou will play an important role within the wider admin team to provide efficient and comprehensive administration support to the clinicians and managers. You will support the standardisation of admin support across the Trust to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the admin support received by clinical services. You will supervise the day‑to‑day workload of the Admin Support colleagues and attend Professional and Safeguarding meetings to take minutes.
You will be required to be computer literate in Word, Excel and Outlook with excellent accuracy in data input. You must be able to multitask, manage and prioritise your own workload, work on your own initiative and as part of a team, and handle sensitive enquiries in a confidential manner. Knowledge and experience in customer care would be an advantage.
QualificationsWe are looking for an individual who is well‑organised, can empathise with service users, has excellent secretarial skills, and is supportive of service improvements. A positive approach to change, the ability to build effective working relationships, approachability, accessibility and a flexible approach to work are essential. Experience of minute‑taking is essential.
