Overview

Salary: £31,350 – £39,600 per annum (depending on experience)

At Lidl, we are proactive, reliable, detail‑oriented, and supportive. The Construction Administrator is the engine room of the department, reporting directly to the Team Manager. Responsibilities include keeping store or warehouse projects on track and on budget through purchase order management, complex tracker oversight, and high‑level reporting to International HQ. You are not just filing papers; you provide vital administrative support that empowers Lidl’s future construction projects.

We offer a hybrid working model: spend most days in our state‑of‑the‑art office, with on‑site gym, restaurant, and multi‑day perks, and up to two days working from home.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Construction department with end‑to‑end administrative support
  • Preparing, processing, and documenting tasks, projects, and sub‑projects in the team
  • Raising and tracking POs, managing invoicing and budget tracking
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports for key stakeholders and ensuring trackers are up to date
  • Minute taking, supporting the team with slide decks and other document preparation
  • Organising and preparation for national events held by the department
  • Providing ad‑hoc administrative support for colleagues or line management on projects as required
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise well
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to deliver accurate results
  • Good attention to detail
  • A team player with a 'can do' attitude, who is adaptable and keen to learn
  • Knowledge of Google Suite is preferable
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus
