Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Administrative Coordinator for a mission-driven nonprofit organization. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity in a hybrid work environment based locally, with onsite work Monday-Thursday and remote work on Fridays.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Administrative Coordinator provides high-level administrative and operational support to senior executive leadership in a fast-paced nonprofit environment. This role is critical to ensuring seamless scheduling, communication, and coordination across leadership, board, and donor engagements. The organization is seeking a polished, detail-oriented professional with strong discretion and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence and care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the President and VP of Development
  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling meetings with donors, board members, and senior leaders
  • Coordinate virtual and in-person meetings using Zoom and Microsoft Teams
  • Plan executive travel, manage itineraries, and track related expenses and budgets
  • Handle sensitive information with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Support development-related meetings, communications, and leadership initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience supporting senior executives, including C-suite or VP-level leadership
  • Strong discretion, professionalism, and executive-level presence
  • Advanced calendar management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and virtual meeting coordination
  • Ability to manage competing priorities calmly and with exceptional attention to detail
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This temp-to-hire role offers an hourly pay range of $28.00-$32.00 per hour, depending on experience. Health benefits are available to contractors after 30 days, with a strong intent to convert to a permanent role for the right candidate.
