This is a 30 hour per week position M-F; location of position Hanover, NH; remote work eligibility:

Position Purpose To coordinate administrative responsibilities for the Appointment Office ensuring efficient and timely logistical appointment support functions. To provide welcoming and service-appropriate scheduling for appointments in the outpatient clinic at the College Health Service, using the electronic scheduling system and independent interpretation of policies and guidelines.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Associates or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge And Abilities- Three years in a medical office or related setting.
- Competency with standard computer applications, including electronic medical record and e-mail.
- Demonstrated proficiency managing high phone volume.
- Ability to understand and observe strict confidentiality.
- Strong and empathetic listening skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated team player.
- Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.
- Understanding of young adult developmental issues.
- Prior experience with electronic scheduling system.

Key AccountabilitiesManages, coordinates and delegates all daily functions of the Appointment Office.
Collaborates with the Practice Manager to manage and coordinate the details of the staff calendar to ensure appropriate clinic coverage and the most efficient use of time, resources, and provider expertise to best serve patient needs, and coordinates event scheduling for regular and special meetings, workshops and conferences.
Communicates with Health Service administrative supervisors to manage the day-to-day clinic support operations at the Health Service.
Recognizes the strengths and challenges of working within a diverse community. Respects and celebrates our diverse student body and acts with sensitivity to the varied needs of the diverse Dartmouth community.
Provides input for department policies and quality improvement initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned
