SALARY: The salary range for this position is $82,632.10 to $ for Schedule A, and $82,632.10 to $ for Schedule
B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to August 29, 2015, are considered Schedule
A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after August 29, 2015, are considered Schedule

The Administrative Supervisor 3 is responsible for management and oversight of staff who provide support and guidance to local vicinage child support staff. This requires the supervision of staff who develop policy and procedural documents and training materials utilized by all child support staff state-wide. The Administrative Supervisor 3 provides guidance and support to Employment Specialists and the Judiciary Opportunities for Building Success (JOBS) Program on child support–related questions and concerns.
The position requires extensive contact with staff from the AOC, vicinage and other agencies (such as Division of Family Development and New Jersey Child Support Institute). The Administrative Supervisor 3 defines teamwork objectives and is responsible for regulating and scheduling workflow to conform with office needs, establishes performance expectations and conducts formal work performance evaluations; develops procedures and/or practices to ensure efficient operation of the unit.
The position requires strong interpersonal communication skills and technical knowledge of the Child Support Program as well as court rules and state and federal laws involving child support.
The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
- Provide critical support for vicinage staff and the ongoing development of program policies and procedures and training material.
- Project an image of helpfulness, cooperation, and solidarity with management and in assisting management implement its work, rules, policies and procedures.
- Work to meet strategic standards and divisional goals within required time periods. Maintain efforts to achieve compliance with certain performance measures.
- Develop and maintain formal partnerships between divisions to develop strategies that enhance performance, initiate programs, improve communication, and enhance customer service.
- Ensure the effective utilization and data quality of automated systems. Manage the necessary planning, development, and implementation for new initiatives as they arise.
