This Apprenticeship involves providing administrative support within the Business Support service area of the Shared Revenues Partnership (SRP), which delivers Revenues and Benefits Services on behalf of Ipswich, Babergh and Mid Suffolk Councils. The post is varied and includes tasks such as ICT support, website publications and e-form administration.
As an Apprentice in our busy department, you will gain valuable experience in carrying out a range of administrative duties, whilst working towards a recognised Advanced Apprenticeship qualification. Working in a confidential environment, your role will involve working in the Scanning and Admin Team processing incoming correspondence and also System Administration for core Revenues and Benefits systems, form design and website administration for the SRP service area.
This Apprenticeship is a Monday-Friday role and is based at Grafton House in Ipswich and remote working.
You will have 5 GCSE’s at grades 9-4 or equivalent including English & Maths, have the motivation to do well and not be afraid to put new ideas forward.
You will be well organised, have good written & verbal communication skills and be a positive, flexible team player. You will be committed to successfully completing a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration.
DBS clearance is required for this role.
This post is offered on a fixed term basis for 18 months.

The selection process will be an interview. Interviews will be held on 9th March 2026.
The assessment interview process will be carried out in person.
