Job Overview

The CalPERS Operations Support Services Division (OSSD), Facilities Management Unit (FMU), is seeking an Analyst I to help oversee the Facilities Program and support the CalPERS mission and core values.

  • Oversee CalPERS’ Facilities Program and act as a communications liaison between enterprise and program on various projects and initiatives.
  • Oversee and execute quarterly badge audits and other safety-related projects.
  • Create and maintain various facilities procedures, policies, reports, and trackers, while providing recommendations to leadership upon request.
  • Provide secondary support to the administration of the Lincoln Plaza Property Management contract and other building management-related responsibilities.
Telework Information

Eligible for a hybrid work schedule: up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite per week.

Personal Leave Program Notice

Effective July 1, 2025, CalHR’s Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) directs that employees receive a 3% salary reduction in exchange for 5 hours of PLP 2025 leave credits, monthly. The salary range(s) in this announcement do not reflect that 3% reduction.

Working Conditions
  • Office‑centered; primarily onsite at Sacramento, CA headquarters at least three weekdays.
  • High‑rise building, open space environment.
  • Office setting with prolonged periods of sitting.
  • Extensive computer work, including regular use of keyboard and reading from computer screens several hours a day.
Special Requirements

Statement of Qualifications (SOQ)

  • Typed, titled “Statement of Qualifications.” Each response must be numbered and list all relevant experience, education, and training, including places of employment, dates, and duties performed.
  • Must not exceed one page in length and must be size 12 point Calibri font.

Minimum Qualifications

  • All experience and education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification.
  • Transcripts and degree evaluations where required.
  • Possible requirement to pass an examination to establish list eligibility.
