- Provides executive administrative support to include managing calendars, department meetings, supplies, budget and first line of contact for the Executives.
- Reviews, prioritizes, directs and delegates a wide variety of complex and confidential requests that are presented to the executive for consideration.
- Summarizes, prioritizes and researches information into a concise and usable format for the executive to review.
- Responds to or routes priority or confidential inquiries from external or internal sources with correspondence or other messaging on behalf of the executive.
- Creates or directs creation of reports, charts, budgets and other presentation materials for the executive.
- Coordinates high level projects, travel arrangements and meetings.
- May plan and schedule work and direct other staff to deliver support.
- Supports quarterly board meetings for GEHA Board of Directors.
- Coordinates and oversees GEHA events.
- Supports all aspects of the GEHA annual meeting.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
- Requires eight + years of high level experience as an executive administrative assistant to senior executives.
- Has advanced Microsoft Office, spreadsheet and graphics software skills.
- Has a broad knowledge and understanding of the company’s operations and business objectives.
- Hybrid role; candidates must reside in Kansas City metropolitan area and be available for hybrid work, including on-site support for quarterly Board meetings and other in-person needs.
- Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office.
- A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mbps download x 5mbps upload) is required.
- Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms
- Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
- A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

G.E.H.A considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
The hiring range for this position is $64,564 - $81,677 USD. At G.E.H.A, the current maximum salary for this role is $91,012 USD. While initial compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications, there is a path to work toward this top rate through performance and continued growth within the organization.
