Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and proactive individual to work as part of the team supporting the two Environment Agency Area Directors in East Anglia.
Responsibilities- Diary and email management.
- Tracking of actions.
- Preparing meetings, both in person and virtual formats.
- Hotel and travel arrangements.
- Key system and process administration.
- Handling enquiries and requests.
- Responding to incidents as part of the incident management team.
- Facilitating working with senior leaders, colleagues and partners from our own and external organisations.
- Collaborating closely with two other Personal Assistants and the wider Executive Support Office, including the Business Manager and Executive Co‑ordination Managers.
- Experience of providing excellent customer service, primarily as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role.
- Ability to build and sustain working relationships with colleagues from across the organisation.
- Confidence with Data Protection and handling sensitive business and personal information.
- Highly organised, able to manage yourself and your own workload effectively.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, capable of acting as an initial point of contact and filtering information accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Self‑motivated, capable of working unsupervised and equally comfortable working as part of a wider team.
- Driving licence not essential but helpful for travel to other offices and rural sites.
This role is advertised as full‑time (37 hours per week) but part‑time (minimum 3 days per week, including Thursdays and Fridays) will be considered. Preferred location: one of our Area offices – Brampton (Huntingdon), Ely, Norwich or Ipswich. Flexible working arrangements are available and the role may involve working from home and occasional travel across East Anglia.
