Department Overview
The Employee Disability Resources (EDR) Office provides guidance on the disability accommodation process for applicants and employees at UW-Madison. EDR provides leadership to the university community to support employment access and ensure compliance.

Qualifications- Enrolled UW–Madison student
- English proficiency sufficient for professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Availability to commit to a mutually agreed schedule for the semester and summer
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of office and records management practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Accurate data entry and electronic file management
- Ability to organize, upload, and maintain digital records
- Ability to meet confidentiality expectations of the position
- Ability to follow established procedures and instructions
- Ability to communicate professionally with staff
- Ability to manage assigned tasks independently and meet deadlines
Job Duties
- Online case file management: data entry and file upload
- Records management: semi-annual employee file updates/file purge
- Attend weekly meeting(s)
- Other duties as requested
This position is primarily remote or in an office environment and involves sedentary work.
- Ability to work for extended periods at a computer in a remote or office setting
- Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and standard office software
- Ability to read from and view a computer screen
- Ability to communicate effectively via email, video conferencing, and other virtual platforms
- Occasional in-person attendance at meetings or office activities, as required
