Job Summary

We are seeking a Project Support Specialist III to support nuclear projects in a highly independent capacity. This role works with minimal supervision and exercises considerable discretion and independent judgment while managing moderate to complex administrative and technical activities. Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining department and project SharePoint sites, supporting Project Managers with file tracking and document control, ensuring Teams and SharePoint content is current, and assisting with project startup and closeout activities.

The role requires strong technical aptitude, organizational skills, accuracy, and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

This position must also support the biennial refueling outage in the designated capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform duties under limited supervision, exercising discretion and independent judgment in planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
  • Assist Project Managers with the development and maintenance of project SharePoint sites to ensure accurate records retention.
  • Track, monitor, organize, and maintain project documents, actions, and statuses in appropriate SharePoint locations.
  • Communicate with site users in person, via email, and by phone to identify SharePoint access needs.
  • Upload, publish, and archive documents in designated SharePoint locations.
  • Provide user training for project staff and other personnel as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups.
  • Support Project Managers with project closeout procedures, including document duplication, scanning, printing, transmitting, and archiving.
  • Assist with in-processing of new department and contract employees, including SSIS and paperwork processing, terminations, and training scheduling.
  • Ensure effective use of Microsoft programs including Excel, Office, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Incorporate processes and procedures supporting project startup and closeout phases.
Required

Education and Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with 10+ years of advanced administrative or technical experience
  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university in a management, technical, or science-related field with 12+ years of advanced administrative or technical experience
  • High school diploma/GED with 14+ years of advanced administrative or technical experience
Qualifications and Skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to function effectively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and One Note.
  • Proficient in standard software and information systems, including SharePoint and Teams.
  • Solid technical aptitude with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Ability to perform moderately complex tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible.
  • Team- and customer service-oriented with strong work and personal ethics.
  • Experience using office equipment to scan and file documents appropriately.
