About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Part-Time Administration Assistant to support our Recruitment Contract Manager on a fixed-term basis. This role is ideal for candidates specifically looking for part-time working hours while delivering professional administrative support within a fast-paced recruitment environment. The position is remote based, however on-site training for the first month at one of Elchemie’s satellite offices is non-negotiable.

This initial on-site period is essential to ensure full system training, process alignment, and role readiness. Thereafter, the role will transition to remote work. You will play a key role in supporting recruitment projects through efficient administration, coordination, and follow-up, enabling the Contract Manager to focus on client engagement and project delivery.

What you’ll be doing
  • Providing daily administrative support to the Recruitment Contract Manager
  • Coordinating and scheduling interviews between candidates and the Contract Manager
  • Managing email correspondence and candidate communication
  • Preparing, formatting, and maintaining accurate documents and records
  • Following up with candidates where required
  • Assisting with ad-hoc administrative and coordination tasks related to recruitment projects
What you’ll need
  • Grade 12 / Matric plus a formal qualification (Administration, Office Management, or Human Resources advantages)
  • Strong administrative background (HR or recruitment administration experience advantageous)
  • Excellent computer literacy, particularly MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
  • Professional, reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Own laptop, mobile phone, and reliable Wi-Fi connection (required for remote work)
  • Ability to attend on-site training daily for the first month (non-negotiable)
