Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Austin, TX, with the opportunity for some work-from-home flexibility. As a District PEIMS Specialist, you will collaborate, coordinate, and ensure accurate data entry, extraction, and reporting for the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS). Daily responsibilities will include supporting the collection and validation of student and staff data, generating reports for compliance with state regulations, providing training and support to staff on PEIMS processes, and collaborating across departments to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in data management, validation, and reporting systems, including a comprehensive understanding of PEIMS reporting requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills for evaluating data accuracy and maintaining compliance
- Effective communication, training, and collaboration skills to support staff and cross-departmental initiatives
- Proficiency in software tools such as spreadsheets, databases, and data analysis utilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
