Coordinator - Beach Education (Founder/Director: Fiona Beach-Mac Geagh).
Location:
Hybrid – Frome office at least twice a week when the Director is in the UK; remaining days can be home-based. This is a full-time role with flexibility for occasional evening calls and weekend events. The organisation is a small, friendly, highly supportive team focused on connecting families with schools and educational opportunities in Bermuda & The Caribbean.

This newly created role will provide high-quality support to the Director and ensure excellent engagement with families and schools before, during, and after events. The post holder will be proactive, organised, warm, and detail-driven, with a strong focus on relationship building and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities- Post-Event Follow-Up & Family Engagement
- Lead all post-event communication with families, sending tailored follow-up emails and tracking progress.
- Maintain close contact with schools to ensure clarity on each family’s status and next steps.
- Arrange and record post-event review calls with schools.
- Develop and maintain a tracking system (CRM or spreadsheet) for families from first contact to enrolment.
- Support arrangements for school visits and other necessary follow-up actions.
- Assist the Director in preparing personalised school recommendations for families.
- Outreach for our charity partners – spend 4 hours a week on this.
- Event Support & Development
- Provide practical support at events (abroad), ensuring a smooth and professional experience for families and schools.
- Suggest improvements to event format, logistics, materials, and communications.
- Help develop new initiatives such as webinars, updated pre-visit information, and improved marketing/engagement materials.
- Stakeholder Liaison
- Build and maintain strong relationships with admissions teams, partner schools, external event organisers, and families.
- Support families through their admissions journey with clarity, warmth, and high‑quality communication.
- Identify opportunities for new partnerships, markets, or collaborations as the business expands.
- Administrative & Organisational Support
- Follow up on leads and enquiries; maintain accurate records of all correspondence.
- Manage diaries, appointments, and schedules for the Director where required.
- Maintain organised electronic files and systems, helping to further digitise Beach Education’s processes.
- Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence; handle confidential information with absolute discretion.
- Provide support on behalf of the Director when she is unavailable.
- Travel to schools across the UK for relationship-building and to support events.
- Assist with invigilation of exams when required.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects and business development activities.
- Contract: Full-time
- Probation: 1 year (formal review at 6 months). During probation, either side may give one month’s notice. After 1 year this will increase to 3 months’ notice.
- Reporting to: Director (Fiona Beach-Mac Geagh)
- Salary: £25,000–£27,000 depending on experience per annum
- Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm with 1 hour lunch between 12–2pm)
- Location: Hybrid – Frome office at least twice a week when the Director is in the UK; remaining days can be home-based. When the Director is overseas, additional flexibility can be agreed in advance.
- Travel & Expenses: Travel to schools; mileage allowances apply; all reasonable travel, accommodation, and subsistence expenses for overseas events will be covered with prior approval.
- Holiday: 28 days per year (including bank holidays within the 28 days).
- Events: Approximately 2 weekends per term (around 5–6 per year) if needed.
