CAN
015 25 Van Ness Avenue Suite 500 San Francisco, CA 94102, USA

The Center for Learning and Innovation (CLI) is a branch within the Population Health Division (PHD) at the San Francisco Department of Public Health that is dedicated to fostering a culture of learning, trust, and innovation. CLI organizes several programs focused on
1) internal training and workforce development;
2) recruitment of the future public health workforce through meaningful internships; and
3) capacity building for external public health agencies and related stakeholders.

Under the direction of the CLI People Development Manager, the CLI Coordinator serves as the cross‑team operational and administrative lead for the Branch. CLI is largely a grant funded organization with several active grants from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Capacity Building Assistance in HIV Prevention and the Public Health Infrastructure Grant, known locally as Project INVEST) and the National Institutes of Health (the Summer HIV/AIDS Research Program, SHARP).

CLI also supports the implementation of the Division’s Workforce Development Plan.

This position is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career public health professional to join a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary team dedicated to ensuring all staff have the skills they need to protect and promote the health of all San Franciscans.

This is a temporary, grant‑funded, full‑time, benefit‑provided position. Employment is provided by Heluna Health.
