Location:
Stevenage (initial training), thereafter remote Job Type: Temporary We are seeking a Repairs Scheduler to join the team at a busy national Housing Association. The role will contribute to the operational delivery of repairs and maintenance services. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient, effective, and customer-focused service delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in scheduling multi-disciplined teams within a repairs and maintenance environment and be proficient in using resource scheduling software.
Day-to-day of the role:
Allocate repair requests to appropriate slots, ensuring they are completed within priority deadlines. Manage emergency jobs to ensure they are allocated and completed within agreed contractual timescales. Optimize job completions by scheduling and tracking all required work. Manage time effectively on the database for holidays, sickness, training, and van maintenance. Schedule follow-on works for maintenance teams as necessary, adhering to agreed processes and procedures.
Ensure all PDAs/mobile communications are operational during core hours. Maintain accurate diaries, ensuring all work is at the correct status and job time and allocation are correct. Contact customers to remind them of upcoming appointments and verify completion of previous day’s jobs. Monitor operatives' attendance at appointments and plan diaries. Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely completion of jobs. Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Excellent Customer Service skills Experience in scheduling multi-disciplined teams within a repairs and maintenance environment is desirable Excellent interpersonal and communication skills IT proficiency, particularly in Outlook and Excel. Attention to detail, and exemplary written and verbal communication skills. Experience in an outbound contact centre, ideally within a housing association or local authority setting (preferred but not essential). Benefits:
