Position Overview

Life Is Work is seeking an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative, operational, and strategic support to the CEO. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality while managing fast-moving priorities.

Key Responsibilities Executive Support
  • Manage the CEO’s calendar, scheduling, and day-to-day workflow.
  • Coordinate meetings, travel, lodging, and expense reports.
  • Prepare agendas, presentations, briefing documents, and follow-up action items.
  • Support inbox management, draft communications, and route inquiries appropriately.
  • Take detailed meeting notes and ensure timely follow-up.
Relationship & Communication Management
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate communication with board members and assist with board meeting logistics.
  • Support donor engagement efforts, including thank-you correspondence and event coordination.
Operations & Project Support
  • Maintain organized and confidential records and files.
  • Assist with organizational communications and reporting needs.
  • Support cross-department coordination to keep organizational priorities on track.
  • Manage special projects assigned by the CEO.
Qualifications Required
  • 3+ years of administrative experience supporting senior leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic project management tools.
Preferred
  • Experience in nonprofit, community-based, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Familiarity with CRM, donor management tools, or database systems.
  • Experience coordinating events or supporting board governance.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $62,000 – $85,000 annually depending on experience.
