The Electrical Service Coordinator will be supporting administrative service functions for respective Area Managers, Service Supervisors, and Service Technicians. The ESC will be responsible for scheduling in‑home service calls, dealing with builders regarding documentation, billing, and various duties assigned. In addition, the Electrical Service Coordinator provides project coordination support. This is a remote position with some travel required.
Duties/Responsibilities- Monitors and maintains the inbox when needed.
- Verifies service work parameters prior to creating work orders.
- Schedules verified work orders in Service Titan systems.
- Sets up customers in Service Titan when required.
- Creates jobs in Service Titan when required.
- Schedules and assigns service, coordinating with the service manager when necessary and appropriate.
- Answers incoming calls and responds to customer/builder needs and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Calls customers regarding external service requests to schedule appointments.
- Requests approvals and documentation from builders.
- Coordinates with internal departments as needed when work becomes billable.
- Requests purchase orders and documentation from builders, providing PO pricing to builders prior to scheduling service work.
- Performs other related duties as directed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
- Knowledge in the construction industry preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- At least two years of work experience in a related field and/or customer service.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Extended periods of sitting at a desk using computer.
- Some travel required.
