25 hours (8am‑1pm Monday to Friday).
We are looking for an organised and proactive Business Support Officer to join our Healthy Lifestyles Service. This is a customer‑facing role providing essential business, administrative and project support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage client referrals and enquiries via telephone, email and online systems
- Maintain client records on the client record system and manage shared inboxes
- Coordinate diaries, room bookings and advisor cover for clinics and events
- Update the service website and SharePoint site in line with Council procedures
- Prepare and distribute service information and promotional materials
- Support HR processes, health and safety compliance, and customer quality procedures
- Process invoices, monitor payments and manage budgets using Agresso
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes
- Handle confidential and sensitive information in line with strict protocols
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with a wide range of people
- Experience using Microsoft Office and other business systems
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of health and wellbeing services is desirable but not essential
