Hours:

25 hours (8am‑1pm Monday to Friday).

We are looking for an organised and proactive Business Support Officer to join our Healthy Lifestyles Service. This is a customer‑facing role providing essential business, administrative and project support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client referrals and enquiries via telephone, email and online systems
  • Maintain client records on the client record system and manage shared inboxes
  • Coordinate diaries, room bookings and advisor cover for clinics and events
  • Update the service website and SharePoint site in line with Council procedures
  • Prepare and distribute service information and promotional materials
  • Support HR processes, health and safety compliance, and customer quality procedures
  • Process invoices, monitor payments and manage budgets using Agresso
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information in line with strict protocols
About You – You Will Have
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with a wide range of people
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and other business systems
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of health and wellbeing services is desirable but not essential
