We are seeking an Intake Verification Specialist to support our US-based healthcare client. In this role, you will ensure accuracy and compliance in client intake and session documentation, verifying details and escalating any discrepancies. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy structured tasks and maintaining high standards of quality.
PLEASE NOTE- Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (4:00 PM – 01:00 AM South African time – subject to daylight savings).
- Public Holidays: This role requires working on both South African and U.S. public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA).
- Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and wired Ethernet capability is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
- Power Backup: Reliable backup required to manage load shedding or outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
- Work Environment: Fully remote.
- Receive insurance requests and cross-reference all intake documents and session notes.
- Ensure the correct modifiers and codes are applied in documentation.
- Maintain systems and trackers to monitor and manage verification tasks.
- Escalate discrepancies or issues to management as needed.
- Support operational efficiency by following standardized processes accurately.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent and high-quality verification.
- Previous experience in auditing, documentation verification, or compliance roles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive or time-consuming tasks efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow processes accurately.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office and Outlook.
- Experience in healthcare or ABA services is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
