Location: Home based (with some UK travel to ECC, stakeholder and member / client meetings)
Salary: £30,000 pro rata
Hours: 28-35 hours per week

The HR Booth is recruiting a Business Services Administrator on behalf of Educational Competencies Consortium (ECC).
The RoleWe are seeking a highly organised and proactive administrator with excellent note‑taking and multitasking skills to support the smooth running of ECC through meeting coordination, training administration, customer service, and finance and governance support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support including document formatting, PowerPoint presentations, research and record‑keeping.
- Maintain electronic systems including SharePoint, Workbooks CRM and membership records.
- Organise meetings and training events (agendas, logistics, virtual setup, venues and catering).
- Take accurate minutes for internal, governance and external meetings.
- Respond to member, client and stakeholder enquiries by email and telephone.
- Act as the main contact for training delegates and trainers, managing bookings, communications and feedback.
- Support governance, finance and HR administration, including invoices, expenses and chasing aged debtors.
- Work collaboratively with the Business Services and Finance team; occasional UK travel may be required.
Essential Criteria
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience of organising and servicing meetings including coordinating travel and accommodation.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and communication skills.
- Proactive, flexible and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated experience of delivering effective and responsive customer service support.
- 3+ years’ relevant administrative experience or degree‑level education (or equivalent).
- Experience in a membership organisation or charity.
- Experience using SharePoint, CRM systems (e.g. Workbooks) or CMS platforms.
