An opportunity has arisen to join the administration team at the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences as a Subject Administrator based at our Brackenhurst Campus. You will be highly motivated, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. You ll be capable of carrying out a multitude of tasks and processes, providing guidance and support to a wide range of stakeholders.
You ll be responsible for supporting students and colleagues with various processes and systems throughout the academic cycle, ensuring records are efficiently and consistently maintained across the University. Experience in working in a busy office environment and operating under strict deadlines is essential.
We are the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Science (ARES) at Nottingham Trent University. Our business is nature: specifically, the environment, animal health and welfare, ecology and conservation, and agriculture and food production.
Responsibilities- Administrative support relating to the student lifecycle, including but not limited to: student admissions, enrolment, extensions and examinations for all students.
- Servicing queries raised by colleagues and students throughout the School and wider University.
- Providing scheduling and secretarial support, including but not limited to:
Board of Examiners meetings;
Academic Misconduct Reviews and Support to Study meetings. - Administration of locally held confidential documentation and files necessary for day-to-day operations in line with University and School-identified procedures.
The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, be self-motivated, have a can-do attitude and take initiative to anticipate and address situations. We offer a mixture of office working from our picturesque Brackenhurst Campus and from home, with travel to other NTU sites required on occasion.
