Position: Residential Group Home Office Specialist (Office Specialist 2 – Salem/Keizer)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical support tasks for residential group homes in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage and maintain multiple calendars, trackers, and spreadsheets
  • Assist with the interviewing, selection, and hiring process for staff
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Use a computer to enter and track information efficiently
Qualifications
  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Two years of general clerical experience including keyboarding and word processing, or an associate degree in any field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Attention to detail for following directions and documenting information accurately
  • Experience using time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and email for scheduling and tracking purposes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience communicating clearly and cross-culturally in writing and verbally
  • Familiarity with working with diverse individuals from varying backgrounds
  • Ability to work in unpredictable environments, including dealing with clients demonstrating challenging behavior
  • Knowledge of First Aid/CPR techniques
  • Experience in a residential care or human services setting
