Operations & Accounting Assistant

Welch is looking for an Operations & Accounting Assistant to support administrative and bookkeeping functions in our food service client’s office. The role is hybrid, with most of the week working from home.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical records, assist with document preparation, and manage email and basic correspondence.
- Support scheduling and general office organization, assist leadership with ad‑hoc requests and special projects, and help with operational tasks or problem‑solving as new needs arise.
- Maintain accurate financial records, record and categorize transactions, and reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Track invoices and vendor payments, prepare monthly financial reports, and coordinate with external accountants and bookkeepers as needed.
- 1+ year experience as a bookkeeping or accounting assistant.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
- Strong working knowledge of Quick Books Online.
- Experience supporting a small business preferred.
- Two weeks of paid time off.
- $500 monthly stipend for health insurance.
