Position: Contract Administrator III (Hybrid Role)
Location: California

The Contract Administratorreportstothe Project Controls Manager .Thesuccessfulcandidatewill have proven contract administration experience with complex, multi-phase, multi-million-dollar construction and/or renovation projects.

Performs a broad range of contract administrative duties, including procurements, billings, insurance, badging, and compliance.

  • Assistincoordinationof Pre‑Bid/Proposal Meetingstopresentthe Project and RFB/RFPto potential bidder/proposers.
  • Preparedraftsof

    RFP/RFBaddendafor

    LAWAtoreview,finalize,anddistributetoPlanholders
  • Preparedraftawardrecommendationsand Board reports
  • Conformfinalcontractdocuments
  • Preparerequiredreportsand contractual correspondence
  • Attendvariousmeetings,includingpre‑bidproposalandpost‑bidproposaldebriefings
  • Assistin Contractstandardizationprocess
  • Monitorallaspectsofcontractcompliance
  • AssistinresolvingproblemsanddisagreementsbetweencontractorsandLAWA
  • Reviewcontractorinvoicesforcontractualcompliance
  • Conductcloseoutactionsuponcontractcompletionsuchasfinalaudit,payment,etc.underthe directionofLAWApersonnel
  • Coordinatechangesacrosstheprojectenvironment,ensuringcorrectproceduresarefollowed andchangesareaccuratelyrecorded,scheduledandcontrolled
  • Prepare Change Documents , Task Orders and Change Orders
  • Route Change Documentsforsignatureandtracksstatus
  • Createanddistributechangereportsandanalysis
  • Supporttheprojectmanagementteaminmaintainingtimelyandeffectivechangesupport processes,proceduresandsystems
  • Leadthedevelopmentandmaintenanceofanyperiodic(daily,weekly,monthly) status reports tokeepmanagementand/orownerinformedofchangeprogress
  • Ensurethatchangesproperlyencumbercontractualcapacityandbudget
  • Coordinate with

    ADPschedulingtoascertaintimeimpactsofchangesunderconsiderationand property documents
  • Assistwithimplementationoftrendandchangesupportprograms
  • Contributetotheadvancementof

    ADP’sgoalsthroughcommitmenttoproductivecollaboration withallstakeholders
Qualifications
  • Minimumof
    10yearsofrelevantexperience in administration of commercial/government contracts.
  • Musthavea self‑starterattitudewithproactive,results‑oriented focus;andwillingandcapable toassumeadditionalresponsibilitie
  • Demonstratedsuccessonthejob,asevidencedbysatisfactoryperformance,acceptanceofresponsibilityandgrowthinpreviouspositions
  • Proven accuracy,reliabilityandcompletenessinjobaccomplishment
  • Effectiveoralandwrittencommunicationskills
  • Mustbeabletointerfacewitha varietyofpeoplewithdifferenttechnicallevelsandeducational backgrounds
  • Mustbedetailorientedandhighlyorganized
  • Mustbeabletoproduceaccurateandtimelyresultswhilemaintaininga customer service attitude
  • Knowledgeanddirectexperiencein

    SBE/DBE/MWBEprogramcoordinationpreferred
  • Experienceinalternativeprojectdeliverymethodsincluding Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and Design Build preferred.
  • Experience supporting Multiple Award Task Order Contracts.
Education/Training
  • ABachelor’sdegreein engineering or business related field, as well as training in procurement, contract, construction and commercial law.
  • Experience with project management software preferred
