The Executive Assistant is a critical partner for the Chief Finance and Administrative Officer (CFAO). Serving as a face of the Finance and Administrative Team and primary point of contact with all stakeholders, the EA ensures the CFAO is an effective leader. The EA manages the CFAO’s heavy calendar, responds timely to key stakeholders, and handles a high volume of requests and assignments.

Regular interactions occur with the Executive Team (ET), the Board of Directors, staff, outside agencies and other stakeholders. The EA reports directly to the CFAO.

CJP is not able to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Essential Functions
  • Provide professional administrative support to the CFAO, including heavy calendar management, email management support, and extensive material development and follow‑up for internal and external meetings.
  • Ensure the CFAO is thoroughly briefed and prepared for all meetings, events, etc., proactively staying ahead of the CFAO’s calendar.
  • Assist in creating meaningful interactions with key relationships internally and externally.
  • In collaboration with other administrative staff, ensure the CFAO’s schedule and activities are aligned with priorities while troubleshooting conflicts to ensure smooth day‑to‑day engagements.
  • Manage all travel arrangements, including planning for anticipated needs.
  • Process and manage expense reporting in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Support events and the project management of key departmental initiatives.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the VP of Finance, VP of Information Technology, VP of Risk Management, and Investment Partnerships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

    Work Schedule:

    On‑site work is required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; remote work is an option on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with occasional in‑person meetings on those days.
  • Physical Requirements:

    The role involves remaining in a stationary position, often sitting or standing for prolonged periods, primarily working at a computer. Staff need to be able to carry a laptop and bag to and from the office.
  • Occasional meetings and events may be required outside of core business hours.

Pay grade range for this position is 67,000 to 84,000. Final compensation will be determined through a thorough assessment of multiple factors and criteria which may include candidate experience and qualifications, available market data, internal salary equity, and budget considerations.

Requirements Education
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent business experience.
Experience
  • 3+ years of professional administrative support with a minimum of 1 year supporting C‑level executives or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Experience supporting finance and administrative functions is highly desirable.
Skills/Competencies
  • Strong organizational, project, and time management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Exercise discretion with confidential information and senior executives.
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity.
  • Strong customer service orientation with diplomacy and tact.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral, listening).
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Appreciation for mission‑driven, nonprofit work; nonprofit experience preferred.
