What You’ll Do:
- Support general ledger processes, including reconciling accounts and calculating accruals.
- Review and analyze general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with property accountants on financial reporting tasks to ensure seamless transitions and accurate data.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions and records.
- Provide support for tax filings, audits, and preparation of financial statements.
- Maintain organized and accurate records for general accounting processes.
- Collaborates with other departments and hotel teammates to complete the annual operational budget.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to implementing best practices.
We’re Looking For:
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline required
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving and critical thinking
- Ability to work within a team-based environment
- Ability to perform and manage multiple tasks and manage time effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
